I founded my first bicycle company in 1999, selling low-maintenance city bikes directly online. I worked on several large bike tenders and won many, successfully providing bikes for corporate bike fleets, community bike fleets, sharing fleets and eventually the Swiss Army bike. I also provided the e-bikes for the first-ever European e-bike sharing system that was set up in Lausanne.

Thanks to many pioneering projects, I gained an exceptionally broad experience in technology, but also supply chain, economics and culture. With this experience, I have supported some great clients through Swissfleet. Here is a selection of some of my clients and the work I delivered for them:

• Full-time engagement for CIP Mobility GmbH “mocci” as Head of Product and Sales, responsible for hardware, software and pilot projects with strategic B2B customers. Bringing a fully connected “smart pedal vehicle” with a series hybrid drivetrain and localized polyamide production strategy to market. Concept work for a cargo trike with a focus on containerisation.
• Consulting work for ZF Friedrichshafen board, including a strategy for a complete micromobility project as a digital learning field for ZF as a second-tier automotive supplier.
• Consulting work for Continental Regensburg, including answering the tender for “Veligo” in Paris, France, for Continental, including a full concept for a rental e-bike, service infrastructure and full IoT concept.
• Consulting work for 8D Technologies in Montreal, Canada, including answering and winning a public tender for Washington, DC, for e-bike sharing. After takeover through Motivate (now part of Lyft) in New York City, supported concept for Citybike NY’s e-bike share.
• Building up the Fleet bike business segment for Fairly Bikes Taiwan (eFlow), including answering a tender in Mainz (MVG) for bike-sharing bikes and supporting the contract and delivery of 500 innovative sharing bikes.

In order to share my experience, I also held several keynotes and lectures on topics like bike sharing, micromobility, cargo bikes and smart pedal vehicles.
