After the VC hype around micromobility and sharing, the market is now finally more focused on sustainable market approaches and integration with public transport. Most players have understood that the difference between Excel sheets and the reality on the street can be massive; it’s a game that can only be won long-term and in close cooperation with municipalities and local players.
Cargo-bike sharing is on the rise, which is something I strongly support. Charging infrastructure will become more important because swapping batteries is inefficient. But which system will prevail?
